The born of rotary feeding crane solves the problems of space limitation of production workshop, large tilting angle of material trough and big tonnage of scrap feeding. It has the features of 270 degree rotation, strong operability, high safety factor, high stability and low friction, which is suitable for the metallurgy and steel industry.

Facing the challenges:

1. The trough is close to the wall, so the hook can only work in a small space;

2. The opposite side of the cabin is a flame-covered ladle, and the structure has high requirements for fire resistance and heat resistance;

3. All dumping of the scrap is required at one time, and the tipping angle of the trough shall be more than 60 degrees.

 

 

The Weihua Technology R&D team has overcome many technical problems and finally completed the design, fabrication and delivery. Weihua's first rotary scrap charging crane was successfully launched, and successfully carried out the running test of this special equipment. This project is a new breakthrough in product research and development in the steel feeding industry.

 

It is reported that due to the stable performance of the rotary feeding crane, another one is required and will soon be 'born'.

Weihua Overhead Crane 20 Ton Destructive Load Test in Mongolia

Rated load 20t; while overload 27.7t

Time: June 5, 2019

Location: Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia

Event: An LH-type electric double girder bridge crane with a rated load capacity of 20t is undergoing acceptance test.

Moment: 14:30

The crane test began.

After successfully passing the no-load operation, the bridge crane statically loads the 20t steel plate hangings. After 10 minutes, the crane load moves back and forth and left and right. After strict testing by the test personnel, all aspects of the crane performed well and passed the tests smoothly.



Moment: 14:55

In order to verify the performance of the bridge crane, the customer temporarily decided to increase the weight of the load for the destructive overload test.

The steel plate was slowly added to 24t, and the crane began to lift for static load test. Engineers and workers are hiding outside the factory, and they are far away from the gate, leaving only our engineers and testers to continue testing. 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes...10 minutes, the crane successfully completed the static load test. The hoist moves left and right, the crane moves forward and backward, and the crane successfully completes the 24t dynamic load test. Weihua crane successfully passed another test!

The trial is not over yet! Customer continue to increase weight!
24t, 25t, 26t... The weight of the hanging object finally stayed at 27.7t, and the crane started another challenge! The on-site personnel who had been hiding outside the factory slowly began to approach. Lifting and holding, everyone at the site is watching the state of the crane; the crane moves left and right, back and forth, and everyone's attention follows the test. In the end, Weihua lifted its expectations and succeeded in passing the challenge again!

The measurement of infrared instruments shows during the test, the degree of crown, side bends and other aspects of Weihua Crane have reached international standards. After the test, the entire system staff gave a thumbs up, and the manager said: OK! OK! Very Good!

160t Bridge Crane Acceptance Test for Ukraine

Recently, a double girder bridge crane (Model: QD160/32-18m) exported to Ukraine is being tested in Weihua factory. The Ukrainian side sent a supervision team to work in coordination with Weihua project team. Our engineers and sales staff actively communicated with the Ukrainian supervisors and conducted in-depth discussions on various details.



This 160t bridge crane is used outdoor for crusher maintenance and other equipment handling for a mining and metals company in Ukraine.

Bridge Cranes Delivery to Mexico

On March 14th, 2020, 3 bridge cranes model QD with span 33m were delivered to Tianjin Port. And the bridge cranes were shipping to Mexico for a steel industry.

 

These cranes has large span and heavy self-weight. So there are 7 trucks were used for this inland transport to Tianjin Port from Changyuan City. After 650km transport in 8 hours, the cranes were successfully reached Tianjin Port.

 

 

The delivery of the bridge cranes to Mexico once again got the recognition and trust from clients in the North American market.

200 Ton Shipbuilding Bridge Crane Delivery

Belt Tube Conveyor and Portal Crane for Coal Handling Project at Sea Port

Weihua provided bulk material handling solutions for Huanghua Port, which include tube belt conveyor and portal crane. They are working together and serving the China's largest coal transportation port.



Tube Belt Conveyor:
The length of Weihua DG550X627m tube belt conveyor used in this project is 627m; Conveying capacity: 2500t/h; Belt speed: 4.8m/s; The pipe diameter is 550mm, which is a large specification in the industry.




1. The equipment adopts large-span trusses in many places, including 36m, 69m and 77m trusses. The truss design has reached the advanced level.
2. Arc adjustable baffles, adjustable angle chutes and self-dust chute are used to effectively reduce dust.
3. Intelligent detection safety baffle is adopted at the tube forming part of the round tube conveyor belt to prevent tube expansion and effectively ensure the safe and balanced operation of the equipment.




The person in charge of the tube belt machine at the project site praised Weihua's products. Four-link Portal Crane:
The 2 MQ4045 portal cranes included in this project are the multi-purpose four-link portal cranes, marking a new level of the delivery capacity of Weihua port machinery and making new contributions to the development of the company in the port machinery industry.



1. The boom structure design with the best stability and the minimum horizontal height difference of the weight during luffing is adopted.
2. Multi-purpose portal crane integrating electric rotary hook, grab and container sling, with high loading and unloading efficiency.
3. It has four mechanisms of lifting, luffing, rotating and traveling, and can perform lifting, rotating and luffing actions individually or jointly within the working range.
