Weihua Won the Bid for 2,000t Gantry Crane Project
Weihua won a bid from China Guangdong Nuclear Power Lufeng Marine Engineering Base. It is a lift capacity 2,000t rail-mounted gantry crane project at hydraulic engineering base.
This gantry crane mainly serves for the representative anti-sway control system and synchronous lifting of the wind power equipment at the production base. It is particularly important for the turning, assembly, closing, loading and unloading operations of the wind power tower. It carries out the transportation, loading and unloading of large-scale offshore wind power equipment cabin, fan hub, wind power tower, steel pipe piles and blades.
1. Large lifting weight and high lifting height:
The lifting weight is up to 2,000t, the total lifting height is up to 90m, and the span is up to 62m, which solves the lifting problem of important marine equipment.
2. Nuclear industry standard, the world's highest safety level:
The gantry is with a double-trolley structure and each trolley is equipped with two sets of lifting mechanisms, which can ensure that the lifting heavy objects can be safely lowered to the ground under extreme conditions. Tube Belt Conveyor / Weihua Group
As a kind of environment-friendly continuous transport equipment, the circular tube belt conveyor is mainly used for transporting coal, colliery coal, coke, blending materials, sintered ore, mineral powder, petroleum coke, limestone, sand-gravel aggregate, acetylene sludge, humidifying dust, chemical fertilizer, salt, waste paper, phosphorus gypsum, sulfur-iron slag and all kinds of bulk materials. The circular tube belt conveyor has the same working principle with the ordinary belt conveyor; namely, make use of friction to move the conveyor belt and its materials. The most of components can be commonly used with the ordinary belt conveyor, however, the difference is that the conveyor belt shall be rolled up in the circular tube shape.

When the conveyor belt has received the materials from the transition section on its tail, the conveyor belt will be rolled up in the circular tube shape gradually, then, the circular tube tape will be applied to transport the materials in the sealed way, then, the conveyor belt will be unfolded gradually when the materials are transported to the head transition section until the materials are discharged. Derrick cranes are docking facilities mounted on vessels or dockside. Recently, Weihua made a 660t derrick crane for Jiangsu Jinghu Heavy Industry, China. This crane is employed to lift 22,000m3 LPG tanks, which consists of platform/base, lifting arm and A-frame mast. It is designed with 2 hooks with capacity 2*330t. The arm length is 70m with luffing 21.5-54m, mast diameter is 1.6m.
Features:
1. There are 4 driving system for hoisting mechanism, 2 driving system for luffing mechanism.
2. The entire derrick crane chassis adopt basin support on concrete platform, which can effectively ease the crane horizontal and vertical deformation.
3. Multi-layer winding line reel drum. Hoisting winding drum wrapped with 4 layers of wire rope, and luffing drum is wrapped with 5 layers of wire rope.
4. Complete frequency, lifting half load speed is 2 times of the full load speed.
5. Using inverter, encoder and a series of electronic control system to ensure the 4 lifting motors keep synchronous running.
